Who would have thought the primal, animalistic guy who bit off Holyfield’s ear would grow into this???
Witnessing someone progress into being a better person is one of the great miracles we are afforded in this existence. The magic that’s in this awe-inspiring rebirth is that it comes from the seed of a conscious choice. Just one choice!
It takes a huge pile of humble courage to realize, I need to change, and actually seeing it through for however long it takes.
In fact, it can be argued that taking on intrinsic, soul transformation is much more arduous than achieving some sort of physical metamorphosis because there isn’t a formula to follow. Nor is there definitive before and after evidence to prove how far we’ve come; if our hearts grew in size or if that defensive wall of anger isn’t as dense as it used to be.
Whenever we see this occur in others, or within ourselves, it’s a time to celebrate as it’s a contribution to the greater good that the world needs…
